Am going to be in Florida Jan 21 thru Feb 4th. Hope this cold weather is long gone by then! Yes--I know I am being selfish. Sorry but that is just the type of guy i am! LOL Seriously I hope there is no serious damage to the orchids and most of all the crops. If it is any consulation it is 7 degrees here and a chance of snow tonight. BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I love this board. You all can always make me laugh AND remind me how many truly good and caring people there are here.
Bill...cold weather is suppose to leave us by tomorrow. Should almost be beach weather here in Tampa - 75ish daytime temps.
Thanks everyone!
I just saw our 10 day forecast, Now that is the kind of winter weather we like, highs in the mid to hi 70's lows mid to hi 50's YEA !!!
Where are you visiting in Fl, Bill
We are driving to Jacksonville on the 20th. I attended Jr high and high school there. Then we go to St Augustine for the beginning of a photo safari that George is taking. It ends in Miami Jan 28. I plan to do some serious orchid looking/shopping and get hopefully get some sun. I understand that there is a large orchid show Jan 28th and 29th at the fair grounds which i plan to attend. The second week we have rented a place in Key Westand some of the kids are joining us there. Really looking forward to this. We both need a vacation.
Bill you will be down there for the big Tamiami International Orchid Festival January 28-29
That is an amazing event!! Bring your walking shoes and a wagon (for your "got to haves"). You are going to need both
