I have begun ordering my cattleya types so that I am challenged to work harder for my flowers. This plant arrived roughly 3 or 4 months ago...and here is my first blooming with 3 flowers.

Lovely. One of my favorites. Need to get another one of these since I lost mine to rot this summer. Thanks for sharing.
I like it, Connie. Love the texture contrast between the waxy and soft frilly. Is there something about this one that makes it more work to bloom?
The compact cattleya are generally easier to bloom for me. I have a bad habit of buying flowers instead of waiting for the ones in spike. So I've started getting plants that aren't in spike or anything. I spend more time out in the greenhouse repotting and spraying instead of going shopping for flowers.
Super pretty! Is this fragrant? It looks as though it is.

Great orchid Connie. PM me with the grower please.
Lovely! I hope to get mine to bloom sometime soon.
Great orchid Connie. Should get some pollen from the Island Charm in another post & cross them
These are so pretty. The green and white makes such a clean, crisp presentation.
