Default Orchids in my Garage - part 1

This is what I see as I walk into my garage/in-door orchid room. The fan on the right is on 24/7.

Mostly paphs on the first two trays. I love multiflorals, parvis and their hybrids.

The big one on the right is Paph. Mt. Toro with mutiple growths. Those 'unhappy-looking, soon-to-be composts' phrags are in front of my Agraecum.

Disclaimer: Please do not ask me about some technical questions such as light intensity, foodcandles as I have no idea. If they like it, they will grow and should grow. If they do not, they should not stay.... lol.

Default Orchids in my garage - part 2

The Vanda house ( aka the Vanda City ) is completely full. It is constructed with PVC pipes and its measurements are 44"H x 76"W x 36"D. It is wrapped around with shower curtains so that the water I spray every morning will stay inside and keep the humidity inside between 60-70%.

Hmm, just a few plants there. What do you do for air circulation?

Ah, so that is where you "park" your orchids. heh

Cathy, seeing is believing. When you come to Portland this spring, you need to stop by.

I have a fan on 24/7. During summer, when the temparature gets higher, the hot air produced by the HID units is controlled to push out of the room by the temparature sensor unit.
