    Thumbs up

I've just joined and had to post. Why? I need to get my count up to five so that I can feel wanted. Thanks for the Avatar info BTW. I was also going crazy.

Well do you have to size the image smaller than a regular photo post before you stick it in there for a custom avatar? If so, what size? No hurry, I guess I can't do it yet cause I apparently haven't hit that miraculous number 5 yet.

This is what I want to stick in there.

I may be wrong, but I believe the avatar rules are 100 x 100 pixels. You can use most photo editing programs to size an image to that scale.

    Hope this helps!

I just joined, and have apparently missed something. How does one post a custom avatar? There's no option for that as far as I can see.

Hi Ellen, and welcome... to get your own custom avatar, you need to have posted five posts... so get a move on and start saying "oooh, and aaah" to some of the pic posts or maybe ask other Q's or maybe help out with other people's Q's.

    Looking forward to those posts.

    cheers

    Aw, Tim-O!

You were supposed to say that user names with double 'L's can't post custom avatars - that it's mentioned in the terms and conditions she agreed to when she joined the forum...

Keeping in the spirit of this thread, that is!

Welcome, Ellen! We still love you - even with your double L's!
