I have repotted my Phalaenopsis sometime ago. It has bloomed once since then. I used store bought orchid mix, which I believe has bark in it. I topped it with Sphagnum. I am worried because it does not retain much moisture at all. One of the air roots has begun to wither. The last of the flowers seems to be unaffected. (It has reached the end of its blooming cycle). I am worried that as time passes it will be affected.
Have you tried increasing the humidity around the orchid? Perhaps a humidity tray?
cheers,
