    Default Cattleya Keith Kettner

Cross of Joe Grezaffi, Medium size flower, lovely fragrance. A creamy yellow/white and gold. I was looking for yellow catts. and found this one with an almost gold center.. It finally decided to bloom. It is a compact grower with single leaves.

What an interesting lip - I wonder where that came from in its breeding.

Rhyncattleanthe Keith Kettner (registered in 2010) = Rhyncattleanthe Bouton D'Or x Rhyncanthe Daffodil

For the 2nd parent, Rhyncanthe Daffodil, it's very simple : Rhyncholaelia dygbiana x Guarianthe aurantiaca

Much more complicated for Rhyncattleanthe bouton d'or, a very complex hybrid :

    Parentage % :
    Guarianthe aurantiaca: 25%
    Cattleya schroderae: 31.25%
    Rhyncholaelia digbyana: 9.375%
    Cattleya mendelii: 3.125%
    Cattleya Trimyra: 3.125%
    Cattleya dowiana: 9.375%
    Cattleya warscewiczii: 3.125%
    Rhyncholaeliocattleya The Baroness: 3.125%
    Rhyncholaeliocattleya Mrs. J. Leemann: 3.125%
    Cattleya Iridescens: 3.125%
    Cattleya Coronet (1902): 3.125%
    Cattleya Golden Gem: 3.125%

Rhyncattleanthe bouton d'or = Cattlianthe Wolteriana x Rhyncholaeliocattleya Buttercup

Cattlianthe Wolteriana = Guarianthe aurantiaca x Cattleya schroderae

Rhyncholaeliocattleya Buttercup = Rhyncholaeliocattleya Primate x Rhyncholaeliocattleya Golden Myth

Rhyncholaeliocattleya Primate = Rhyncholaeliocattleya Primrose x Rhyncholaeliocattleya Heatonensis

Rhyncholaeliocattleya Primrose = Rhyncholaeliocattleya Impératrice de Russie x Cattleya Primrose

Rhyncholaeliocattleya Impératrice de Russie = Rhyncholaelia digbyana x Cattleya mendelii

Cattleya Primrose = Cattleya Trimyra x Cattleya schroderae

Cattleya Trimyra = Cattleya Myra (1895) x Cattleya trianae

Rhyncholaeliocattleya Heatonensis = Rhyncholaelia digbyana x Cattleya Hardyana (1896)

Cattleya Hardyana (1896) = Cattleya dowiana x Cattleya warscewiczii

Rhyncholaeliocattleya Golden Myth = Rhyncholaeliocattleya Mithra x Cattleya Golden Gleam

Rhyncholaeliocattleya Mithra = Rhyncholaeliocattleya Amber x Rhyncholaeliocattleya Sofrano

Rhyncholaeliocattleya Amber = Rhyncholaeliocattleya The Baroness x Cattleya dowiana

Rhyncholaeliocattleya The Baroness = Rhyncholaeliocattleya Mrs. J. Leemann x Cattleya Ophir

Rhyncholaeliocattleya Sofrano = Rhyncholaeliocattleya Mrs. J. Leemann x Cattleya Iridescens

Rhyncholaeliocattleya Mrs. J. Leemann = Rhyncholaelia digbyana x Cattleya dowiana

Cattleya Iridescens = Cattleya bicolor x Cattleya eldorado

Cattleya Golden Gleam = Cattleya Elinor x Cattleya Golden Fleece

Cattleya Elinor = Cattleya schroderae x Cattleya Coronet (1902)

Cattleya Coronet (1902) = Cattleya (Laelia) cinnabarina x Cattleya (Laelia) harpophylla

Cattleya Golden Fleece = Cattleya Golden Gem x Cattleya dowiana

Cattleya Golden Gem : unknown parentage... it will remain some mystery in your plant, sorry.

I'm very very very tired !!!

Don't worry, I use a software to do that. But I had to check some data on the RHS.
Is this what you want, Carol ?

    Besancon... nice french name...
