Hello all, here are the pictures of one of my Cattleya hybrids, which changes color fantastically from Orange to pink. I have the name tag but it is in a bag of name tags (I know it was stupid, but packing plants from Bremen was very stressful, hence all the tags went into one bag) and my mom says she is fine with taking care of the plants, but if I involve her in sorting the horribly named tags, I will have to look for someone else to take care of the plants LOL! So any ways, here it is.
Very pretty, Amey. Another Richard Mueller hybrid?
How pretty, Amey! I love that it changes color from one beautiful shade to another - kind of like a mood ring (70s fad in the US). I share your frustration with tags - I do that to my paphs all the time when they're not in bloom and I'm repotting.
I don't think it is a Richard Mueller cross, since they tend to change color from orange to yellow, and it lacks the typical spotting and lip shape that richard mueller imparts, but I cannot be sure till I read the tag myself. Monday is the day when my mom has agreed she will skype with me with the bag full of tags, she will read out the names and I will tell whether it is the right one. Its going to be very long, since I have around 60 tags in there LOL.
I'd look in the Slc. pile. That is a gorgeous little cattleya! Love the color and it's fade. Very nice!
Very nice Cattleya, Amey! Simply gorgeous!
Thanks Natali !
Beautiful form! I too will be surprised if it turns out to be a Mueller hybrid. As you pointed out, Amey, it is missing the common Mueller markers.
I swear I have seen this before. It is very pretty Amey
