Great Photos! I especially love the first one. The flower on this orchid are almost plastic or wax. So perfect! Very nice!

    Cheers!

Gerald, you grow such lovely plants, makes me feel like an orchid wimp... but I console myself by thinking about the fact that you live in the tropics..

Um, Diane, you live in California. That is the tropics!

LOL! Compared to Winterpeg - I guess just about ANY place is the tropics!

Hmm, so you're saying my perspective is, um, skewed? Just because I think Denver, Colorado has mild winters? You may have a point. LOL

I do maintain, though, anywhere palm trees can be grown is tropical. (And yes, I do realize there are many parts of your beautiful state where one will never see palms growing.)

    Cheers,

    Rob

I guess experience is the rule - - since I've spent time in Belize, Honduras, Guatamala, El Salvador, Panama, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and many places in the Carribean, I don't consider So. Cal. Tropical. But I definitely consider it saner to live here than in your winter wonder? land
