Purchased Feb 2015 in bloom. Brought it home and broke the spike off within 24 hours! Now 12 months later, it has grown well and has now started a rebloom. First of what appears to be at least 2 buds. The next buds are inside the sheath, so I can't really tell how many are there.
I kept it in sphag and I have been able to grow it successfully.

Real beauty and excellent images Harvey.
Pretty bloom and the plant looks very healthy. I wondered if phrags are harder to cultivate than paphs. Or are they about the same?
Phrags like to stay wet. I have never allowed it to dry except when I went on vacation and I had no choice. My paphs I water with everyone else that gets water 2 times a week.
Great color and photography Harvey!
Beautiful! I love the Phrags and will probably get one to try this summer. Keeping it wet will be a challenge for me, but I really like them.
Leave it in sphag and put it in a tray that can hold water and just pour a little water in it every day and it'll be fine. 10 seconds! Mine makes it to the sink once a month on kelp day.
Beautiful Harvey! A friend has been trying to talk me into one but I always seem to kill plants that need to be kept moist.
Beautiful Phrag, bravo Harvey.
That's beautiful. Harvey! What a gorgeous color!
