Zain, I plant the begonias in sphagnum/charcoal/sponge rock inside the domes. The sphag. stays moist enough that I don't water very much. Most of the gesneriads that aren't in domes are wicked. The lights stay on 12 hours a day. There two 2 lamp fixture per shelf (T8).

    Zainal,

I am not sure. It might be B. holttumii, or B. wrayi.

Cathy is right: B. pavonina is endemic in Cameron Highlands. My Borneo- plant is a different species.

Thank you again for sharing this incredible experience! I feel so fortunate to be able to see the plants you photograph in situ. I will never be able to see these sights for myself and the photographs help us understand the environment of the plants. I am in awe of the beauty and diversity of the plants that are found throughout this incredible earth.
