You're right, Amey - though I'm generally not a mini-catt fan, this one does have a certain glow about to - and great appeal! Nice photographs!

Here is one very beautiful Guaritonia, a selfing of the AM/AOS clone Why not Round About. It is a very small plant with just 4 pseudobulbs, I got it flowering with 2 flowers in November, and it already has been flowering on this gorgeous spike since early March and another spike is forming. The flowers are already a bit out of prime, but my Mom could not flower it earlier. There is a very fascinating glow almost an aura about the flowers when in bright sunlight. Really a wonderful plant, highly recommend it to everyone.

A very pretty clone, Amey!!!!!
Nice Amey, makes a good breeder also.
Why Not is a very pretty hybrid. Bravo.
Very pretty
Beautiful little orchid! Why Not is a very popular plant here in South Florida. When they get large they can stay in bloom for a long time if the psuedobulbs don't all bloom at once. Mine has been in bloom for more than three months and still has flowers on it. I agree that it's a great little orchid. Your's is very pretty.
Thanks a lot Eric, Cathy and Jeff. Jeff I have seen nice photos of monster specimens of why not blooming with hundreds of flowers,I wish mine grows up fast. Please do share pics of your plant with us.
