    Default Catasetum Penang Red

    First time blooming in my garden (I think, because I've never seen this before!! ). I must have got this without bloom a long time ago before I start insisting on the names of all orchids that I bought. Very unique dove tail on the lower part of the bloom I would say. Thanks for looking .

    The majority of catasetums I've seen are interesting flowers but not something I would call beautiful...this is most definitely an exception. It's gorgeous!
