    Well, most of my crab is already off of the body so I am pretty sure it is dead when I cook it. Too yummy to give up.

    It's mostly the locals that say so, though they are really popular, along with 'sea cat' or octopus and 'conga' which is either eel or rayfish can't remember exactly which it is. Sea egg is also a delicacy down here but I don't like it, and it has been band because of over fishing.
