I am learning to love the smaller plants. They seem to bloom so nicely. You have a gorgeous splash petal!

I got this plant as a seedling about two years ago from Paul Phelps on my adventures to Florida. He is a grower and breeder in Tampa. Very cool guy and very pleasant couple. I happened to get a free seedling out of my visit. (Rth) Rhyncattleanthe Little Eddie Fabik . Formerly Potinara Little Eddie Fabik. Small growing plant. About 4 inch flower with deep yellow, reds, pinks, and a tinge of lime green with slight fragrance. Very interesting color placement to me. This is its first bloom with two flowers.....Enjoy!

thanks guys...it kinda got moved around through different climates so the flowers only lasted two weeks. opening for my birthday. But in that time i got to pollinate it with Epidendrum Eagle Valley, which bloomed at the same time and is still in bloom. I hope to add to the lip texture and longevity of the flowers. I would also think that the number of flowers would increase and size of the flower decreased. Making it a little yellow, pink splashed, fringed lip jem... HAHA Its pod is growing really well. I hope it turns out with some variable seed
