I could admire the aroma within 3 feet earlier today. Now it looks like it requires a shorter distance, less than 2 feet. (I guess it does not smell so strong in the evening because the plant does not depend on night pollinators... flies are not so active in the night, are they? LOL )
I still keep my plant on the porch. When I took my dogs for a walk earlier today, youngest one became just overexcited.. she tried to jump on the plant, so I had to hold the leash very tight. She is a real hunter (I have two black Labs) and loves smell of rotten flesh. Anyway, I've never seen her SO excited!! She was going to cuddle on my plant, no kidding.

That is beautiful. And such a huge plant!!! Mine is only 5-6 bulbs but has 2 new growths starting. I think my flowers were only about 11-12 inches, but maybe by the time it gets the size of yours......

    Great growing.
