I think it will get better. I think this is only the 2nd time blooming. It is an older seedling.
Reminds me of Princess Mikasa 'Blue', I've flowered it 4 times in 8 mths, the summer flowering was great bu the others just average.
I pretty much have most of the vanda types in spike. We had a series of very cool nights which caused them all to throw spikes. I even have some of the reluctant bloomers happy.
We have just started full winter here & I've found some Ascda's etc with spikes coming on plants that I haven't got to spike in year. The cooler temps won't do the buds much good but atleast I'll hopefully see them. Strange happenings is all I can say.
I agree. I don't think I've had this many at a time.
Cathy you have so many vandas hybrids soon your house will become paradise after they throw all the flowers simultaneously .....wow colorful like rainbow.
