Well, I have one dog inside and tons of "pets" outside where my orchids grow.
    Take a look:

At the moment we have two dogs - a Smooth Collie and an English Setter. Along with them we have 4 cats, a couple of aquarium fish (though when they go, I will have a 55 gallon orchidarium!) and 15 ducks. The ducks aren't really "pets" as such, they are livestock, but they are very funny and we like the eggs. That's a very low pet population for us, we've had horses, many dogs (I used to breed and show them for years), various cats, parakeets, lots of different aquarium fish and various oddball pets. My husband is no help at all. If I call him and ask if I can bring home a kitten, he is likely to say, "I like cats!" and we have another pet. lol He's almost that bad (good!) about the orchids - he says he likes my orchid hobby and doesn't complain about fancy pots, potting media, new plants, etc. If I see a pretty one shopping, he almost always says yes to buying it. He's a sweetie.

Well, I have 3 cats, and 2 cockatiels inside. Then I have 4 cranes that come to visit outside. Lots of lizards which I love too.

I totally missed this thread. I have three dachshund rescues and two fish tanks. Nothing exotic just tropical fish. One of the fish tanks just has a betta fish named Evelyn. She is my study buddy. I had an iguana named Emmie for over ten years. She finally passed away due to some complications from a surgery. I miss her a lot. I raised her from 19 grams into a 6 kg gorgeous lizard.
My sister has an African gray parrot named Chevy. When I spend the night he doesn't allow anyone to sleep very late. He screams wakey wakey wakey! Until someone gets up with him.

    Nat,
Do you grow all of your orchids outside?? With this horrible heat, I am concerned. I moved my phals back inside as they were getting burnt. We put new screening on our lanai, it is shade screen. Are dendrobiums better in or out? Thank you my friend.
