Default Cattleya mossiae, Cattleya lawrenceana, Cattleya dowiana, Cattleya gaskelliana,

Here are my blooming Catts (some blooms have already passed prime)
From left to right: C. mossiae coerulea 'SVO' x C. lawrenceana coerulea 'Pedrito' (last three flowers) , C. mossiae coerulea 'No 33' x 'Herrera', C. dowiana, C. gaskelliana 'Sr. Npod' x self, C. warscewiczii s\a 'Atropurpureum' x self, C. gaskelliana 'Victoria Caballero' x 'Rosa'

Cattleya dowiana is blooming in spite of pseudobulb rot on central (oldest) bulb. I am going to start a thread about this special plant.

    Thank you, Connie!
Yes, this is dowiana. It is a really special plant how I mentioned in the end of my previous post. The plant is 2011 Black Rot survivor. Well, I better tell the whole story in a new thread.... will try to do it tomorrow. With pictures etc.

Natt that is simply out of this world !! You have a gorgeous collection of summer blooming Cattleyas. But I could keep the infected plant a bit away in a less crowded spot. From what I hear C. warscewiczii is very sensitive to rot.

    Thank you Amey!

Well, I put all the plants so close to each other just for photo session. The C. dowiana is not really insolated but stands on the end of the shelf. I don't see any problem with this slow developing pseudobulb rot which usually affects dowianas at most. I don't know if it helps or not but I use a fungicide for affected pseudobulb every second day.

Nat - What an awe-inspiring display! I'm struggling just to keep my few catts alive and yours are an absolute crowd of color and shape, and (I wish I could smell then). I'm having trouble with a C. Mary Crowe (C.G. Roebling x lueddemanniana) () - could you take a look and see what might be wrong?

That has to be one of the best dowianas I've ever seen in terms of presentation--possibly the flattest I've ever seen. Most tend to be cuppy. Yours is a sweetheart! Does it grow and bloom well?

    C. mossiae coerulea 'No 33' x 'Herrera' is blooming with 21 flowers this year!
First two flowers opened on May 11th and are now gone.
