    Very beautiful bloom.I love the Purple viened lip. Is the true colour red or more orangish? Can't tell from the pic.

    wow is that beautiful. i love the red color. you don't see such a vivid color pattern on vandas around here much. i've seen some very expensive vandas from the overseas looking something like this... but not with such fullness to the petals and sepals.

    thank you everyone, Angela it is red to maroon in color the orange may be showing because the photo was taken late in the day and is backlighting the flower. I'll post a pic when more is open, if I'm not dealing with Issac.

    Ed, the name is correct. I have the same plant and so does Al from our friend in Florida. You should see this one bloom almost continually. It seems there is always a new spike waiting in the wings. Just about the time you cut the old one you will notice the new coming on. Good choice.
