Red face Renanthera Storiei in bloom

I just bought two storieis at the Philippine orchid show. The flowers are near wilting and the plants are somehow dehydrated. I googled it up and found that this flowers once a year, however, the vendor told me that this blooms twice any time of the year, just expose it to a very bright spot with lots of water. I hope she's right, can't wait for it to bloom again..

Lovely Renanthera! I am in love with the beautiful flowers the Renanthera have. I like to give my vanda types honey when I spray them with fertilizer. You will find one Tablespoon to three liters of water...used as a soak, or in foliar spraying will help perk your plant up rather quickly. Thank you for sharing the pic's...your flowers are lovely!

Thanks for the Tip. What about attracting ants?. I fear that in my situation I would have an invasion of ants, and they bring with them other infestations.
