Default Vanda Yano Blue (Vanda Madame Rattana x Vanda Wirat)

Hello all, the monsoons in India have sparked the 'monsoon madness' amongst my orchids, many of them are in bloom now or are budding. I show here a beautiful Vanda Yano Blue (Madamme Rattana x Wirat), it has taken the nice markings from Madame Rattana like another Rattan offspring Gordon Dillon, but the beautiful blue in this one comes from the all blue Wirat. As you can see from photo of the full plant, it is quite a giant, and has lost one spike to rot and one spike to snails I guess (which somehow went unnoticed by my mother ) and it is still producing another spike from the top, I just imagine if all of the spikes had stayed on it would have made a magnificent specimen. Anyways enjoy these photos.

Amey is magnificent now! Love the spots on those flowers and sad to hear about the other spikes.

The actual plant Amey looks hugh and so healthy! The blooms have a very vivid spotting and dramatic presence. Rather a regal vanda.........................AL
