Both have excellent, large, flat flowers. Very nice! I love the neon bright color of the one on the right.

these are two of my vandas in bloom right now. i bought these without flowers since it's cheaper. im glad the thrips are gone, however, sparrows already ate half of the first flower I had to place CDs and other shiny materials to drive them away. happy orchid growing!!

Congratulations very beautiful indeed both plants are healthy.
thanks zain
i agree with you, it's just strange that it's kinda pale.. these vandas were almost eaten up by a fire last christmas. our neigbors house was totally turned to ashes and my plants were not spared.. here's what they looked like after the fire.. i have some orchids that did not flower. im thinking if the too much heat during that night caused them to not flower... im still hopeful though.. these plants are scarred, their leaves will always remind of the fire's damage.. most of my vandas foliage are not that great..
Sad story to your neighbor, I hope your plants by now some of them will recover just watch out for secondary infection trim the dead tissues if possible.Apply frequent fertilizer twice a week will accelerate the growth pattern usually will gain a good results.
Wow...when mine look awful it's my fault from too much sun. A fire did that? poor babies... Any that are showing stress, it might help to do a honey soak with some superthrive. And I agree about the secondary infection...if I were you i'd be putting cinnamon on anything soft and spray with your fungal systemic every week or so to keep infections at bay. Best of luck...some of the tropicals like the Bromeliad will bounce back, but may do it faster if you spray them too. Good luck and sorry to see all your damaged plants. I hope they recover for you....
I'm sorry for your orchids and your neighbor! I hope everything is alright.
Both vandas are making me drool!!!
