New grower here.My husband recently purchased what I believe is a phalaenopsis. It had three lovely blooms and nice green leaves. It now has no blooms and yellow leaves. It is potted in a plastic pot (with holes) in a bark mixture. We do not get a lot of natural sunlight, so I haven't known where to put it. I have finally decided on my kitchen window. I watered it with ice once weekly for two weeks. I then decided it wasn't getting enough water, so I watered it more. Now I fear I've overwatered and need to know if it can be saved. I cut the stem back today just above the second node. I removed the potting mixture to observe the roots. For some reason, the site is not allowing my to upload pictures. Thanks so much for any information! Can my plant be saved?
Your photos are most likely too large. Reduce them to 700 x 700 pixels and 72 DPI (dots per inch) in size. That should upload nicely. 700 pixels is as large as the largest size can be uploaded. See this link for more information:
