    Default Bulb. rothschildianum 'Red Chimney' FCC/AOS

    Last year at our show several fellow members brought this plant to me and asked if they should buy it. I told every one of them they should but they still put it back. It was still there on the last day of the sale so I got it for myself. SO glad I did! 5 new leads and 5 spikes!!

    wow! what a fascinating color and shape to the flowers. that should take bulbos out of the 'obscure' list for sure. how are you growing it? warm, cool? greenhouse?

    Outside for the summer and greenhouse for the winter. It gets very bright light with night temps around 55 in the winter.It's planted in an 8 inch basket with bark base medium.

    wow, that is pretty big, i was thinking it was a much smaller basket than that. i did some research, these can live outdoors here.... must have one...
