I have posted pictures of this Formosae dendrobium before but I can't resist posting the pictures of the new blooms. They cover the whole of the upper half the new pseudobulb. The recent wet weather must have something to do with it.

Wow...that is amazing. I need to check on mine, it was looking sad when I brought it in the greenhouse.
Really beautiful!
Absolutely Beautiful! Wish I could grow them. Have never tried, because I have enough grief trying to bloom anosum and bullenianum.
Good growing, Congrats.
very nice, always loved these but never tried growing
Thanks everyone for looking in and for your comments. To all those who are thinking of growing the Formosae type, I can attest to the fact that they are no harder to grow than most dendrobiums and they are not seasonal bloomers and the flowers last an average of 3 months in our climate - thus the name 'Everlasting Orchid'. This has to be my most popular dendrobium.
The potting medium should be quite open. The best medium here is charcoal - 1 - 1/2 inch pieces.
Wow! I always love to see your collections!
Stunning dendrobium! I love the orange and white blooms on this orchid.
cheers,
