rot fungus or just bad?

My Equestris var. aparrii has lost a couple of leaves recently. The brown spot inside the leaf looks like rot to me but it is not fast moving like rot would be. I can't promise that water did not splash inside the leaf axil and sit there....just not sure. But I lost another leaf so I doubt that was it. Any ideas?

Hi , are you sure the plant does not have spider mites ? I would remove the leaf with the spot on it , my biggest concern would be the dark down low on it . Also would not hurt to repot it removing bad roots . are you growing it in s/h ? Gin

Yes, growing in s/h. That really bad looking leaf has since fallen off but I still have those with the brown down low. I will go ahead and repot and see what I find. In this case, is it okay to re-use the pellets or not?

I would use new or already cleaned pellets. I would not re-use these pellets until they have been cleaned. You could soak these used pellets in bleach water for 24 hours, let them dry, then rinse and re-use them as if they were new; to be safe.

Just curious what kind of pellets are you using? My mediums always been
sphag, lava rocks, medium bark. Is that Aussie rock?

I use PrimeAgra, which is a form of LECA (Clay pellets).
