    Hello, everyone.

I have an oddity that I have not seen before. "Watermelon Perfume" is a new acquisition that I bought online about 3 months ago. From the pictures, there are two spikes that have been gradually getting bigger, BUT I noticed a small growth from one of the past blooms. It is definitely growing.

Could this be a dormant bloom from last year?

Yes, Chris, it most certainly can be. Though not "common", I have seen this happen on rare occasions before with catts. For some reason conditions weren't conducive to blooming whenever the plant was in sheath, but not so bad that it decided to abort the primordial spike.

Hi Chris, I really like what you did with your plant. Well done! And make sure you upload an image when it blooms!
