Default Will this root prevent growth?

There was no way to move this root. I was wondering if it's going to interfere with new leaf growth.

Does the plant need repotting? You could try soaking the plant for a bit and see if you can gently redirect it, and clip it inplace. Or, snip it off, since you have many other nice healthy roots

a very healthy looking mount, you might want to try to move the leaf on the left so the root could get under it, if you can do so without breaking the leaf or root, but I think the plant will probably work things out .

I think you're best to let nature take its course. The plant had a reson to anchor itself like that, so let it.

I agree that I would just let nature do it's thing. But if it really bothers you, I don't think it will harm the plant to cut off just one root. Don't do it unless it seems absolutely necessary though.

I'll leave it be. The root is a strong one and the new leaf is healthy. I wasn't sure if it would stop the new leaf from growing or prevent new ones from forming healthy. Thanks for all the input.
