Very lovely, especially for a dendrobium.

So pretty!! I love this! I have a Green Lantern that has two HUGE buds on it that are about to pop! It must be that time of year for these guys.... I've got this one on my wish list...I love the Frosty Dawn. In fact, after I bought the Green Lantern, I went back and saw a pic of a Frosty Dawn and sort of regretted buying the Green Lantern, because I thought the Frosty Dawn had a nicer shape! A lovely addition! Congrats!

(And on a totally random note, am I the only one who can never find the right emoticons to use in these comments? I'll go looking for clapping hands--like I used above--and all I'll be able to find are vomiting smileys. But when I need a vomiting smiley, well, then all I can seem to find are ones that are flushing themselves down toilets or blowing themselves up in microwaves. I think my computer is laughing at me.)

I have several Formosae hybrids that are in perpetual bloom mode - all of them very pretty, with long lasting blooms. But the cutest of them all is Frosty Dawn x bellatulum, that starts bloomung at around 3-4 inches tall. I'm attaching picture of one seen at one of our local shows.

Oh my gosh, I LOVE IT!!!! And it blooms when it's only 3-4 inches tall? WOW!! My Green Lantern is about a foot tall I'd say, and it's just now blooming for the first time. I love how your hybrid has the peachy blush on the petals...just beautiful!! I'm going to have to see if one of these is available where I am. How big are the flowers on this cross?

Almost the same size as Green Lantern, The peach blush gets darker than that shown in the picture as the flowers age. The flowers last 2-3 months and during the last month or so the peach colour becomes really very noticeable. This plant is quite pricey. I paid MR 100 (US $34 ) for the 3 inch tall plant in 2 inch pot with 1 flower.
