Default Do these florescents need replacing?

I used florescents last Winter for the first time and ran them about 3300 hours from early October through mid-May. I used Sylvania Sunstick, Full Spectrum Florescents, 40 watts each, 48 inches and they say T12 on the box. Do these need to be replaced this year? I'm not sure how many hours they are really powerful before the light starts to wane.

Are these good bulbs to use again? I don't really have any comparison since I have only used these. I did not have a great deal of blooming but the prior year I overwatered so there might have been some recovery. Is there something better on the market?

And also, does anyone know about disposal of florescent lights?

    Thanks!!

back when I used fluorescents, many many years ago, I replaced them at least once a year and tried in actuality to replace them every 9 months or so. back then (and probably still now, although I have not kept up with fluorescent technology), the light intensity dropped off sharply after about 6 months or so. (without any difference in the perceived brightness that our eyes sense).
