Lily if you look at the Asco. Su Fun Beauty pic....in the background you can see a net looking basket ..that is vanda roots you see and it belongs to the big pink guy Robert's Delight. ...both of these are in shagnum moss, as described in your "vandas too difficult" post. The "wire" look basket is made from plastic gutter guard by hubby.
Perfect shape on those Gilda! Great growing. I especially like the orange one.

That's gorgeous Gilda... If I'd seen this before I went to the orchid show, I would no doubt have ended up with a couple of Vandas.
As Matt said, the shape are lovely and rounded and the colours are wow!
Cheers

Thanks guys !
Tim,
I am glad I wasn't your downfall !
Gilda, no way would I consider acquiring such beautiful plants a downfall... you would have been known as the great enabler!
Gilda, the net basket with sphag is a good idea! My vanda seems to sulk at having (dry) roots hanging in midair without any medium, so I believe it ought to have something to retain more humidity. Hmmm...I'm getting some ideas now. Poor vanda is going to dry up into a prune if I don't do anything before the cold weather comes.
And those are fantastic vandas! Wow, so colorful and so lovely. Looks very well grown.
Thanks so much for sharing the pics and the info!
They are very beautiful with great color and form! Well done!
Cheers!
