    Exclamation Free Seeds

Free! yes, absolutely FREE! (that means no charge, zip, nothing, nada - even nada III) This amazing one-time offer is made to all OrchidTalk members BUT HURRY !! This is a limited time offer (limited to how ever long it takes to give the seeds away)

I have collected some seeds from one of the miniature daylilies that I have. It is an evergreen species, quite charming, about 2.5" flowers of bright orange, with maroon backing on the petals, and dark maroon scapes (stems). It grows about 24" tall. Want to try it out and see if you can grow some from seed?? Well, PM me with name and address and I'll slip a few in an envelope and send them off to you!

    Thumbs up seeds

New member here that loves to grow things from seeds.
I would be glad to try to grow the miniture day lillies from seeds if you still have some.

I have grown pomogranets, mangos, papayas, oranges, tangerins, apples, and globe grapes in my office at work. And i live in oregon.

I really want to try to grow orchids which is something i have yet to do. I have never tried to grow any as of yet.

    thanks

Diane, they grow well from seed. Prior to my orchid addiction, I was into breeding daylilies as a hobby. I would gather the seed in the fall and plant it right away. This would have the seedlings up first thing in the spring. It took about 3 years from seed to bloom.

Hi Kathy and Cindi - Should I remove your physical address from these posts? It might be wise to PM your address to Diane. This forum section is not private and is indexed in Google daily. Just thought you should know. The index map of the site is submitted each night around 12 am to Google. This thread will not be indexed until then. It has, however, already been sent out in the RSS feeder. It is updated though each time there is a reply to the thread.

    Cheers,
    BD

Bruce, I do genealogy work, so my address is on the internet in many places all ready. I am not worried about it being posted on this forum. People are welcome to contact me if they wish!
