Went to the London Show on Friday , bought a few nice things, two of which are shown here - the third is one in my collection for a couple of years ( Amazon Trick)

The spotty is CTT Siamese Doll "Kiwi Fruit"( strange name for the cultivar ! )

The dark red with the horizontally arranged flowers ( actually at least two spikes, and a third one opening soon ) is Slc ( now CTT) Little Hazel.

The other dark red with the flowers more vertically arranged is Lc ( also now CTT) Hsiang-Yu Red Pearl "Red Dragonfly"

Amazon Trick is of course a seedling of the well known Trick or Treat , just back crossed onto L.cinnabarina , and not very different.

A disappointment at the show was the non-showing of a Taiwan dealer with my pre-order of a dozen or so interesting species of various genera. When I got home, I found an e-mail telling me my plants could be collected from another dealer... but with a three hour journey I could not turn round and go back, and it was impossible for me to go again the next day.
I suppose this is a lesson, that I should get with it and get a smart phone, instead of the simple primitive mobile which I don't even bother to switch on ( it's to get me out of a hole - late arrival, or call a taxi etc. rather than for people to call me - old man's thinking I guess ! ) for then I would or could have read the email at the show - whatever, I have ordered one, although I expect I shall have to wait for my great-grandson to teach me how to use it....

Geoff, very nice. It is a shame about your order though.

They're all beautiful! I especially like the CTT Siamese Doll. I've never seen that one before.

Love the vivid colors on these -- especially the spotty and that first red!

Don't feel bad about your cell phone state, Geoff -- I have only an archaic cell that sits in my car. Not even sure if it still has a charge or even works. Guess I should check that though -- it is, after all, there as an emergency phone in case the auto breaks down or such.
