    Vilma you have a Great variety of flowering plants, and orchids in your Garden. Looks like a place where I would like to take a "time out". Congrats.

    @ BD the flowers in the last photo are called 'Bachelor's Buttons" !!!! They come in several colours.

    I never knew this one was also called Bachelor's Buttons. I know it as Globe Amaranth and a different plant as Bachelor Buttons.

    Ron, I am happy that you were quick to point this out. From as long as I can remember we here in Barbados have called this plant by that name. My Mother always had these growing in her garden. I called one of the local Nurseries where I often buy "Bachelor Buttons' seedlings and asked them if they knew another name for these. They gave me the name " Globe Amaranth". I have looked at some images on the Internet and that is correct.

    Thanks for the alert. I learn something everyday.

    I have the first two, mine are adjusting to life in the newly planted flower beds. Your last pic is amazing! You could make a poster out of that one, too cool!
