Default Aerides odorata: no bloom like this for a long, long time

I know I have posted a number of times the blooms of my Aerides odorata var calayana, with variably bright pink colors, but last night one of my vendors dropped by with this beauty.

All my odoratas have at most perhaps half the number of flowers on this spike. Plus, it is very bright pink. Two keikis, as well.

Needless to say, I was captivated.

That is really stunning Nelson. Your vendor brings plants to you? Wow, I have to go stand in line somewhere...

    Default Thank you, Diane.

Yes, they do drop by my house when schedule permits. They have become friends, more or less.

Looks like quite the specimen plant. So, did you buy it for your collection or just take a photograph for admiration!?!

Default Matt, it is mine now.

I am trying to decide which prime real estate would it thrive and which plant to displace, lol.

On the other hand, Aerides grow quite well in my place.
