    Default Suspected Virus

Hello everyone I suspect this to be a virus, but could anyone give me a second opinion. Its a shame too. Its a very big and nice plant. This is one 3 leaves. This is the worst leaf. Two of the leaves are on one Pbulb. What do you think?? Virus right.

I dont know for sure what it is, but I would definitely get rid of the plant so whatever it is can't infect anything else. I never have much luck recovering plants from disease or severe insect infestations...

Well, Some of the plants recieved did have insects, but I have never seen something like this before. It is a NoID plant so its not to valuable to me, but it is a speciman sized plant. Oh well. Its isolated in my living room at the moment because it is in flower. Not sure what I will do with it, but I will cross that brodge when I come to it. Thanks!!

Rather than throw it out I would remove the suspect leaves . and treat for fungus. Keep isolated and see if it shows up on other leaves , how are the flowers , normal ? No way to be sure with out having it tested . G

Flowers look normal and these spots are on some of the older leaves. I would hate to get rid of the plant because like I said it is a speciamn plant. ITs in an 8 or 10 inch pots and its filling it. Uncast I would suspect sunburn too, but its the paterns that concern me. Looks like rings. Does anyone know of a good place to send a leaf to for testing? If it isnt to expensive I may do it. It is a NoID plant so it has to be cheap!! LOL I thought about just cutting them off like Gin said, but the only place I can keep it isolated is my living room and there isnt enough light there for it to thrive. Puts enough strain on the plants when I have them on display. You should see my poor LC Love Fantasy and its in front of a window!! I still don't know what I'm going to do yet. I probaly will try to find a corner in the GH to put her and see if it shows up on other leaves after I wack off these leaves. Thanks everyone!!
