Default Grow a Dendrobium Orchid From seedling?

Was thinking about purchasing, what is described as seedling sized dendrobium Aridang Blue. For the CHEAP price I think it's worth a try! Would also be my first dendrobium and first with a lil seedling. (Even though I'm not sure how little it will be) the reason why I want to go with the seedling sized Den versus an adult, my space is extremely cramped ATM, lol but I'm so drawn to the look of dendrobiums. Any thoughts?

Dendrobium Aridang Blue will grow into quite a big plant. This type of dendrobium are warm-loving orchid.

Given that your limited space, I think mini-dendrobium which are more easier to manage & grow.

But, remember they are warm-loving & sun-loving(a bit short of cattleya light level).

    Hope this helps.

The Aridang Blue could grow to about 18 inches to 2 feet tall. If you want to grow the mini types look for the Den compactum or Den kingianum crosses. And as Cucubirds mentioned dends are high light plants.

Not that fast. I don't know how big is your seedling. Small seedling itself may not grow to that big.

Instead new shoots will get bigger & bigger till they reach mature size since this is sympodial orchid. So, when your plant reach that big size(let's say 2 feet tall), probably it has 3 or more shoots already.
