Hoping some of our learned friends could assist in the actual name for this species...
sold to me as Dendrochilum filiforme but the shape of the lip doesn't seem to match any of the ones on other website including Jay Pfahls...
the flowers are coming out of the top of the new growth which then form the leaves... no scent to speak off, but then my laelia which usually has a morning scent doesn't ahve one either... so maybe it's me...

Looks very much like D. cobbianum.
Spikes are normally longer & more pendulous on mine.
They are very scented normally but it can take a while for it to
be noticed.
