    Default Light meter

This is an embarrassing question but I purchased a light meter. It has a remote probe and 3 scales for settings on the meter. I can't figure which to use or how to read the numbers. Ive searched the Internet and the manufacturer's website. I can't find any info to help. Can anyone explain a light meter's workings to me. I'm trying to find out the amount of light my orchids are getting because I want to figure out the best location for each orchid.

What is the name of the light meter and the model number along with the name and model of the remote probe? Maybe there is a user manual on line somewhere? OR - try typing the model number and name into Google or Bing and see if you can find the user manual. That is what I would do. Good luck to you.

    cheers,
    BD

The light meter is Sunleaves sun gauge. The "Instructions" give me the Features, General Specifications, Electrical Specifications, Light Sensor Spectrum sensitivity, Correction Factor and Measuring Recommendation. Measuring Recommendation may be what I need to understand. I have been on their site but there is nothing more than what I have.

I may have to go to the store where I bought it for help...

You are correct - there is not a user manual for this product. I recommend going to the store where it was purchased and seeing if someone there can help.

I'll do that Bruce. Once again, thanks so much.
