I have grown orchids under lights, in the house, for several years now. I just moved (all 70 of them) and have a whole new bakers rack to fill! After reading on this site about flasking/deflasking I have put a bid on a flask of Vanda (Southeast Beauty x Charles Goodfellow) 'Red Lip. Mericlone.
I'm terrified I'll kill them, but am determined to get them! Will post pictures and summary of what happens. Thank you all for the information you provide. I have done compots, but not flasks. No time like now!
Any special advice for a deflasking newbie? Especially on Vandas, which I have always killed?
Theresa
Good luck to you.
cheers,
BD
