    Default Blooming cactus

My wife took this picture a few days ago. It is amazing anything can grow in the dirt around here, let alone bloom. These grow all over the place and are uncomfortable to sit or kneel on. LOL

I'm always amazed at the beauty of the cactus flower. Heck, anything other than dried up rocks would attract attention, so I'm not sure why they go to such trouble. I do enjoy it, though!

Lovely flowers. Many cacti have such beautiful blooms. Such a shame the flowers are all so short-lived.

    LOL

They blend in a lot better when they aren't blooming.
