It has been a long while since I have visited. I thought to replace this beauty but can't find it any where. Has it been renamed? I found Oncdm. Pumpkin Patch, but having found the link, it was a blog.

Nowadays the name of this hybrid is Oncostele Catatante and you can add 'Pumpkin Patch' as the name of the cultivar. Oncostele = Oncidium x Rhynchostele.

Who knows for how long it is going to be Oncostele?

I couldn't find the orchid with this name either. I can't believe this beautiful orchid would disappear.

Go to the RHS orchid registry at http://apps.rhs.org.uk/horticultural...hidresults.asp

Then enter Oncostele as the genus and Catatante as the grex. You should then get the following:

This is what I found and don't know what to do with it:

    Type of plant:
Trial information: Found in many colour variations from ruby-red to yellow with brown markings. Often sold as a Cambria. Can be grown successfully as a houseplant throughout the UK

I believe the hybrid that you have is Oncostele Catatante which, according to the RHS link I pasted into my previous reply, is a cross between Oncidium Sphacetante and Oncostele Wildcat. It was registered in 2002.

Pictures of various plants are shown e.g. in Blue Nanta's database OrchidRoots:
    https://bluenanta.com/detail/1001264.../?tab=sum&att=

The particular clone Pumpkin Patch received an Award of Merit (AM) by the American Orchid Society in 2012. I think you will be able to look that up if you are a member of the AOS or if you have access to OrchidWiz.

    Enjoy your beautiful plant.
