Cool Dendrobium Blue Angel and Den. Udomsri Beauty x Dendrobium Thailand

These two are new. I wanted to get out and wander around a local nursery and ended up bringing these two home. Both are very unusual shades of purple. My dendrobiums are late bloomers this year. I have a ton of spikes and buds developing, but they won't be open for awhile so I went and got a couple already starting to open.

Those are both so pretty! Is this a pre-birthday present?

No, they were more of a "I'm bored and wandering around a nursery means orchids follow me home", sort of thing. But it's almost October...maybe i'll start early-er this year.

The white outline on the sepals of Blue Angel is nice.

Judging by the roots, they are happy plants.

    Love the blue!

Hello Connie, well I had a pleasant surprise when I came onto this page just now, I am looking at an orchid which I think I may have and I had posted before but was given a different name, if it is I am so very glad to get the name, it is now in bloom for the second time this year and is a young plant so I hope that it gets as large as yours but really beautiful flowers, here is a picture again please let me know what you think, Name: CIMG0460a.jpg

Attractive shade of blurple on the Blue Angel; I too like the picotee on the sepals. My dens are also going into some late season frenzy of spiking lol.
