Tonight's project. It was bought from a guy with a lizzard (?!), but now I want to use it to water my orchids. Any good ideas are welcome (right now)!!

Not surprising. Such misting systems are common for use with certain types of geckos, with chameleons, and with frogs. Many of the arboreal animals will not drink from a water dish but instead will only lap up water droplets off of leaves or the glass of the tank. Misters also help to keep up humidity levels for those animals.

I'll be interested to see your use of this system. Were you thinking of using it on orchids that would be grown in a terrarium?

Yes, I have an old aquarium as a cultivation cabinet, and I'm presently misting manually... Hard work!!! I've posted some pictures earlier of the cabinet, so this is my next step.
