Hi,
I've made some hybrids on my own and I'm just excited to share their progress.
Here are the parents...
Phalaenopsis tetrasambo
Phalaenopsis finleyi
...and here are the results...
9 boxes of seedlings
1 box of seedlings
a sample of the seedling
I will update this thread once I get some progress.
Cheers
Vincent

Interesting to see what flower form dominates, could be very interesting indeed.
In this cross, Phalaenopsis finleyi is the seed while Phalaenopsis Tetrasambo is the pollen. I was hoping the reverse be more interesting but the seed pod did not pull through.
At this stage, they are showing strong thick roots with a few of the seedlings growing up to 5 leaves at this size. That concludes that the size of this Phalaenopsis will be small like Phalaenopsis finleyi. The leaves are green and hard which takes after Phalaenopsis Tetrasambo but slightly rounded like Phalaenopsis finleyi.
Next, I will take a few of the seedlings when they grow up a little to mount. Need to see if they take after Phalaenosis finleyi which likes to be mounted.
Cheers
Congrats Vincent. A very intriguing cross. I hope that linleyi will increase the flower count.
Hey, I wish that too
Wish the outcome is awesome Vincent.
Congratulations Vincent!
