Another interesting cross. Very healthy seedlings.
This is so cool! I really want to achieve breeding orchids myself in the not too distant future!
Congratulations "Daddy" I suspect that the offspring will be very nice. How many do you plan on growing to blooming size or do you have the room to bloom them all out??
Thanks Ron, I will be growing them all out.
Sad to say I do have other hybrids and species waiting to be deflasked.
They are...
Bulbophyllum maxillare
Bulbophyllum basisetum
Bulbophyllum macrobulbon
Phalaenopsis Seletar Tiger X Phalaenopsis aphrodites 'variegated'
Just an update.
I have taken a batch out of the lot and place them in a special setup with humidity and ventilation and bright light. They are given a weekly dose of organic fert, auxin, gibberellin and cytokinin.
