A crossing of Sarc. hartmannii x Rhyn. retusa.
The plant was given to me a while ago. Flowered well.

Very nice!
A neat hybrid! Never heard of this kind of cross before.
Wow, Roy - my type of orchid!!! Really envy you. I will be hunting for this in our local nurseries, Hope this cross is made in Thailand as that would make it easier to obtain. Only recently have I been able to obtain a (2 actually - all that the vendor had) Sarc hartmanii after years of hunting for it. This is so exciting! Thanks for posting.
This cross was made here in Australia, decades ago. It has been m/cloned extensively & 2 - 3 similar crosses have been made but I'm not sure if any have been exported. I haven't seen them in any catalogs other than here.
They will grow warm or cool & can through many spikes on large plants. This one has had 4 out at the one time.
Very charming delicate coloring.
What a beautiful plant. Must keep this in mind just in case I come across one (though I don't think so if it's not exported outside Australia).
Really lovely blooms, not seen this cross before, are the flowers the same size as Sarc. hartmania.

nice cross, you can see the shape and color from the parents.
What a very nice lush pink colour on this cross. The wide range of crosses possible in this Vandaceous group is almost unlimited! Thanks for sharing!
