To all OrchidTalk Forum members and friends a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2014.
Keep safe and may Santa bring you lots of joy and happiness and gifts and orchids. I gave myself a new camera; I actually don't need one but my neck and shoulders have told me they they are too old and creaky for the heavy old warhorse of a camera, so I gave myself a new camera that weighs less than half that of the old one.
Thank you Yew-Sung. Wish you merry christmas and Happy New Year!!.
Wish all your orchids healthy & eventful new year too
Thank you and best wishes back to you! I gave myself a book: "Orkidéer - värda besväret" by Stig Dalström: looking forward to reading about many exciting orchid adventures these holidays!
Thanks so much, Yew Sung. I wish you and your family happiness, prosperity, and good health for the upcoming year. Many blessings to all of the OrchidTalk Forum members.
cheers,
BD
Thank you and Thank you for saying "Christmas" instead of Holidays. If people want to take Christ out of Christmas then they shouldn't celebrate the "holiday" at all. He is the whole reason for it.
This is just a point of info, it is not meant to denigrate anyone's belief:
As a Jewish guy, wishing me a Merry Christmas is a waste of time. I have the day off but I do not celebrate it. Just another day off work to me.
Now if you are of a Christian faith, then 'Merry Christmas' is fine.
I wish you all a great holiday season (I'm don't celebrate Christmas either), I hope you all have a great new year and many happy orchids!
I wish you all the best for the holidays and in the coming New Year. This is supposed to be a time to be kind and to enjoy the company of those you care about. The only people I don't really have time for are those that still have to wonder.........................."Are there no prisons are there no work houses" So in the true spirit of Christmas here's hoping old Scrooge finds happiness and contentment and that Tiny Tim gets his Medicare (Medicaid). Please remember that there are plenty of people in this world worse off than you. AL
Happy Hannakah 78 (sorry if I don't spell this right).

just realized the candle above only has 7 candles. that is so not Hannakah. This candle has the right number.
And a very Happy Christmas and New Year for you also, Yew Sung! Have fun with your new camera; take lots of orchid photos!
