Black spot on orchid leaf, is it an infection will infect other leaves?

Not getting the picture. Looks to be missing a [ in front of IMG. Add it and see if that helps or re-post the image. No one can see the image otherwise.

Posted the pic for you. It is difficult to tell. I would keep an eye on it but I wouldn't be over worried at this point

Is that a compot? If so, I think I'd pull that one out and treat it separately with a fungicide if you want to keep it.

Ah, the compot is when you take the babies out of the flask and put them in community (com) pots (pot). Maybe that should be com-pot? I have never had a flask, is it possible to remove it though without risking infection in the whole flask? I can understand your concern about it, I'd be concerned too, I just don't know what to do! Good luck.

Thought compot was the preservation of fruit? My bad, guess you learn something new everyday (HEE,HEE). Anyhow, this particular plant can be susceptible to rot and fungus. Alot of its sensitivity is due to the shaping of its foliage. This plant will tend to hold more moisture. Cut out the rot and rub with rubbing alcohol. Monitor plant to make sure. Water less. Perhaps expose to more air circulation than it would recieve in plastic (at least 4 hrs. of the day).

Difficult to tell from the picture, but it looks like it is a result of too much moisture.

That would be compote. In this case, a compot is a contraction for community pot.
