    Beautiful flowers! I see one growing in the wild here quite often but I don't know if it is native or introduced. About 5' tall with yellow flowers. You must have quite the raccoon problem!

    Yes,big problem for me.they came all family when we have a lots of gold fish in the pond.

    Iris pseudacorus is the only yellow Iris you are at all likely to see growing wild in North America. Invasive non-native that can cause problems in wetlands. Check out Ontario Invading Species Awareness Program website.

    Luckily, this is not a problem with the lovely Iris posted here.

    Looks like the same thing. I think its taller than that though and I only ever see it in small patches.
